London deserved exceptional Italian shoes. We went to Italy and made it happen.
Our Story
In 1995, we saw what the London market was missing: truly exceptional Italian footwear at prices that respected the customer. There were few places that could deliver both. So we built one.
From the very beginning, we went directly to the source — partnering with Italy's finest luxury houses and, in time, establishing our own manufacturing line alongside them. Names like Marino Carlo, Massimo, Franco Bellini, Mister, and Rossi became collaborators, not just suppliers. Together we create exclusive designs you will not find anywhere else.
That founding principle has guided us for over thirty years. It is why our shoes have appeared in the pages of Vogue, and why heads of state, royalty, and those who simply refuse to settle have trusted us with something as personal as what they wear.
The Italian Connection
Designed in London.
Crafted in Italy.
We do not simply select from catalogues. We collaborate. Working alongside Italy's most respected luxury houses — Marino Carlo, Massimo, Franco Bellini, Mister, Rossi, and others — we co-create exclusive sets that bear our creative direction: every leather, every stitch, every detail of embellishment chosen by us.
Alongside these partnerships, we also produce our own exclusive line through our own manufacturing — giving us a level of control over quality and design that very few retailers can claim. The result is footwear you will not find anywhere else in the world.

Wentworth Street.
Steps from Liverpool Street station, our Wentworth Street flagship has been the home of Classic Shoes London for over thirty years. It is where wardrobes are built, where occasions are dressed, and where our family meets yours.
Over the years we have had the privilege of welcoming customers across stores in Shoreditch and Oxford Street. But Wentworth Street has always been — and will always remain — home.
